316L surgical steel

The base of every Magneva piece. The same austenitic stainless alloy used for surgical implants, chosen for corrosion resistance and because it is safe for skin that reacts to nickel in ordinary costume jewellery.

18K gold ion plating

A real gold layer bonded under vacuum, not a lacquer or a wash. It is what keeps the colour through soap, seawater and years of daily wear.

99.9% copper

The Pure Copper Edition is solid copper rather than plated steel. Copper develops a patina over time; a soft cloth and a little lemon brings it back whenever you want it bright again.

Neodymium

The strongest permanent magnet material made. In Magneva it sits inside the band, set by hand and sealed, so it never touches skin directly and never works loose.
